He became the outcast of the town and was bullied. Corey was labeled a killer because a couple years prior he was involved in a babysitting job that went wrong and the kid got killed but it was an accident. So, the movie is less about Michael Myers and more about this troubled teen named Corey. Since I only saw the movie once please give me some grace if I get some details wrong. It completely changed the tone of the first two films and instead of feeling like a conclusion to the previous two, it made itself feel like it's own unique film, separating itself. David Gordon Green's new trilogy (Halloween, Halloween Kills, and Halloween Ends) started off relatively strong and enjoyable. I'm a huge Halloween fan and usually every year I re-watch the classic one from 1978. So, I only saw the movie once and it was in the theater. If you haven't seen that movie and would like to, please know that this post will contain a few spoilers for both Apt Pupil and Halloween Ends. Halloween Ends was a really crappy movie in the Halloween series that concluded the new trilogy created by David Gordon Green. I've already read five or so books just this month.
